Zusammenfassung: | <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Phytochemical investigation of the 95% EtOH extract of the dry fronds of <jats:italic>Conyza japonica</jats:italic> (<jats:sc>Thunb</jats:sc>.) <jats:sc>Less.</jats:sc> resulted in the isolation of three new labdane diterpene glycosides, (3<jats:italic>β</jats:italic>,13<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>)‐13‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐<jats:italic>α</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>L</jats:sc>‐rhamnopyranosyllabda‐8(17),14‐dien‐3‐yl <jats:italic>α</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>L</jats:sc>‐rhamnopyranoside (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>), (3<jats:italic>β</jats:italic>,13<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>)‐13‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐<jats:italic>α</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>L</jats:sc>‐rhamnopyranosyllabda‐8(17),14‐diene‐3‐yl 2‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetyl‐<jats:italic>α</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>L</jats:sc>‐rhamnopyranoside (<jats:bold>2</jats:bold>), and (3<jats:italic>β</jats:italic>,13<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>)‐13‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐<jats:italic>α</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>L</jats:sc>‐rhamnopyranosylabda‐8(17),14‐dien‐3‐yl 6‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetyl‐<jats:italic>β</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>D</jats:sc>‐glucopyranosyl‐(1→2)‐<jats:italic>α</jats:italic>‐<jats:sc>L</jats:sc>‐rhamnopyranoside (<jats:bold>3</jats:bold>), together with their aglycone, (13<jats:italic>S</jats:italic>)‐labda‐8(17),14‐diene‐3,13‐diol (<jats:bold>4</jats:bold>). Their structures were characterized by spectroscopic analyses and chemical correlations, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR, and HR‐ESI‐MS. Furthermore, compounds <jats:bold>1</jats:bold>–<jats:bold>3</jats:bold> appeared to be promising as active agents against the tested pathogen fungi and oral pathogens as they possessed moderate cytotoxic properties.</jats:p> |
