Zusammenfassung: |
Kindergarten and first-grade children anticipated the results of 4 transformations by drawing and by selection, copied the correctly transformed displays, and were tested for conservation across the transformations. Copies, anticipatory drawings, and choices tended to agree in form, and choices were no more accurate than drawings. Children tended to be better at anticipation than conservation in simpler displays and better at conservation than anticipation in more complex displays. Results support the Piagetian hypothesis that copying is influenced by schemes and may suggest that operations may be more useful for understanding complex than simple displays.
|
